This past weekend was Crush here in our great little town. What a fun day! There were games for the kids, live music, vendors selling their wares, food to enjoy, grape stomping (of course), and a bit of wine drinking – even some dancing! Jarrett and I had fun.
Jarrett even entered the stomp competition for kids with a group of friends:
Payton had a soccer game, so joined us later. His team won their soccer game! He really enjoys who he’s playing with.
Sunday became a “jammie” day for us. I gathered tomatoes from the garden and made sauce, baked zucchini bread and did laundry. It was mostly quiet around the house – Jarrett even took a nap!
The weather is still very warm here, and yesterday we experienced some hazy skies due to a nearby fire.
Not very easy to breathe in this.
Thanks for reading my attempts at remembering gratitude …
