Life in the Rearview

There are so many little events that we experience every single day.  I used to write more things down and share them on our family blog.  It’s been a while since I’ve done that, but there are a few special notes I make just to try and keep our crazy life in perspective.

Sometimes I stop and make notes when they boys say things I just don’t want to forget.  Many times I’m driving and can’t stop right at that moment, but try to remember and document later.

Brothers got to play with each other a few weeks ago during a tournament in Hillsboro called “funino”.

It still makes me smile when I can get farm fresh eggs right here where I live … picked these up from a friend at school yesterday.

And it’s also time for another fun fall sport … are you ready?

Our friend Mitch plays on the high school team, so we enjoy watching the games.

Beautiful Thought

Just saw this beautiful thought on a blog I follow – go check out Big Picture Classes when you get the chance!  Lots of wonderful things going on over there. Smile

A Weekend Full of Activity

crush

This past weekend was Crush here in our great little town.  What a fun day!  There were games for the kids, live music, vendors selling their wares, food to enjoy, grape stomping (of course), and a bit of wine drinking – even some dancing!  Jarrett and I had fun.

Jarrett even entered the stomp competition for kids with a group of friends:

Payton had a soccer game, so joined us later.  His team won their soccer game!  He really enjoys who he’s playing with. Smile

Sunday became a “jammie” day for us.  I gathered tomatoes from the garden and made sauce, baked zucchini bread and did laundry.  It was mostly quiet around the house – Jarrett even took a nap!

The weather is still very warm here, and yesterday we experienced some hazy skies due to a nearby fire.

Not very easy to breathe in this.
